We are still trying to ascertain exactly what is going to happen with this building
We have made suggestions that would be of benefit to the community such as a Dentist Doctors or a drop in for advice on council and social issues
We have also made suggestions regarding older people accommodation.
It is prime land and it should be used for the community.
Our main reason we are pushing the council on this is the deterioration to the building, especially we now know it will standing as it is over the next winter.
Sunnyside
The cabinet member for Transport Cllr John Mounsey was invited to come and have a look at this road by Cllr Bissett he agreed it was definitely in need of work the engineer present stated that it would indeed need a full restructure. Although John could see it was in need of repair it isn't the worst in the borough and would be looking at the budget to see if Sunnyside could be in the next number of roads to be done

Thorpe Marsh
At a recent planning meeting Paul Bissett spoke out on your behalf to have the proposed Landfill Site application turned down, rest assured Paul will continue fighting against this application should it go to a Public Inquiry.
Tesco's Field
Due to the work of your Lib Dem Councillors new goal posts have been erected and two extra pitches marked out for the local football teams in the ward.
We have also asked Community First for extra bins and to make sure they are emptied on a regular basis, they are also looking into the anti-social behaviour of some youths.
