Once again hard working Dave Farrell has been chosen to represent the Adwick Ward at the local elections for the Liberal Democrats.
After last years close fought election Dave has been getting ever closer to his goal, to support the Adwick Ward on Doncaster Council.

The local Post Office at Adwick-le-Street is part of the Labour Governments national cull of 2500 post offices.  Dave campaigned with local residents to keep it open.
Your Labour Councillors in Adwick failed to keep it open. Last year they said no post office would be closed in Doncaster.
Once again Labour has let down local people and sent out a clear message that Labour does not work for you.

Dump the I.D. Cards
Spend the millions that would release on the Police Force. Put more police on the beat.

Axe the Council Tax
Introduce Local Income Tax, which is both fair and affordable. The average pensioner and family would be better off.

Protect our Green Spaces
Stop building in back gardens and green fields.
Give our kids somewhere to play.

Anti-social behaviour
Still on the increase with no sign of a letup. Illegal motorbikes plague our area, we must put more resources into this matter.

Floods
At a recent Council meeting the Mayor refused to amend his budget to allow more money for flood defences. A Lib Dem suggestion.

About the Ward
Repairs are urgently needed to roads, footpaths and drop kerbs.
20mph zones and traffic calming schemes should be introduced to all new housing estates. More play facilities for our children & fencing for the aged.
